Hello, everyone! I thought I'd dust off the keyboard and let you know I've come out of hibernation. Spring has sprung here in Kansas and I'm loving it. Even the couple of days of rain we've had has been so welcome after such a dry winter.
I've actually been sewing a bit and have a few things to show you (and a few that have to wait to be revealed). However, I'm long overdue in sharing this beautiful potholder that Tracy from the Portland Modern Quilt Guild sent me. Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild and Portland Modern Quilt Guild participated in a Log Cabin Potholder Swap after Susan Beal spoke at one of our meetings here in Kansas City.
Please don't look too closely because there are already a few spots on it. It's been in the center of my dining room table everyday since I received it. It's the perfect size and thickness for a trivet during dinner and then I've leave it on the table to admire. I see it everyday as I walk through the front door and have enjoyed it so much.
The back is just as beautiful as the front. Thank you Tracy!
You can check out the potholder I sent to Portland here.
